Panos Emporio

Founded by Panos Papadopoulous in Athens in 1986

The world we come from moves at a different pace. A fisherman pulling in his nets before the heat settles over the harbour. A dive from the rocks in the early morning. A cat crossing a sun-bleached square without urgency. A book left open on a towel, forgotten for a swim.

A coffee at 8am in a whitewashed Cyclades harbour.

Every silhouette starts with the body. Every cut, seam and drape is shaped through refinement, until the garment feels effortless to wear. We work directly on the form, gathering and draping with precision to create swimwear that moves naturally with the body.

Fabrics are carefully selected for the way they move, hold, and feel against the skin 

Our prints begin as paintings. Each one carries the texture of the brush and the trace of the hand behind it, preserving a sense of artistry long after it becomes cloth.

The palette moves between northern landscapes and Mediterranean intensity. Stone and clay. Espresso and citrus. Sun-warmed earth and the deep blue of the Aegean Sea.

The foundation remains unchanged. Swimwear designed to be lived in.
