Compliance with the Transparency Act - SYVERSEN AS for Panos.com

SYVERSEN AS takes all obligations under the Transparency Act seriously - human rights, health, environment, and workplace safety.

 

The purpose of the Act is to promote businesses' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions when delivering goods and services, while ensuring public access to information on how they handle and follow up on these issues.

 

The Act is based on OECD guidelines for conducting due diligence, risk assessment, and implementing measures in areas such as human rights, workers' rights, environment, taxation, anti-corruption, competition laws, consumer interests, and transparency.

 

We have begun assessing our suppliers regarding the risk areas covered by the Transparency Act. This is an ongoing process, and any new suppliers will be asked the same questions and required to document their compliance with the Act. The goal is to identify potential risk factors and address them according to our policy.

 

The Board of SYVERSEN AS has approved our policy for the Transparency Act, and assigning the CEO with the responsibility for compliance. Based on this decision, SYVERSEN AS has developed ethical guidelines for suppliers.
